$5 shipped to payneverbeg
SOLD OUT!!! THANK YOU VERY MUCH AND GL TO US.
Here's the rail thread:
http://forum.neverbeg.com/showthread.php?t=129381
LOOK FOR BAP #2 WHICH WILL BE IDENTICAL TO THIS ONE EXCEPT WITHOUT THE UNLOCKED DEPOSIT BONUSES. HOWEVER, I AM INCREASING THE BACKERS' CUT TO 60% IN BAP #2 AS A SWEETENER.
THANKS TO THE EARLY KICK-OFF FOR BAP #1, BAP #2 WILL COMMENCE AUGUST 5th, WHICH IS ONLY A WEEK LATER THAN THIS ONE WAS ORIGINALLY INTENDED TO START.
SUBSEQUENT NOTE: BAP#2 SOLD OUT IN LESS THAN 24 HRS. THERE IS A WAITING LIST IN CASE SOME OF THE RESERVED SHAREHOLDERS BACK OUT PRIOR TO THE START.
This is my first BAP on NeverBeg. It will run for 4 weeks commencing July 29 or the day it is sold out, whichever comes first. If all shares are not sold by July 28, HeartofGold1 (my wife), has agreed to purchase whatever shares are left. I will offer cake on my future BAPs to any investors who lose money on this one. 100 shares will be sold at $5 each. Money can be shipped to ChessSafari on either PokerStars or Bugsy’s. Distributions of 100% of the profits will be made weekly. Here is my plan:
WEEK #1
I will start the BAP on PokerStars with 15 x $4.40 180-man tourneys and 10 $5.50 9-player sit ‘n gos. I will finish the week by heebing $4 on a NL micro ring game table at a time that I will announce in advance so that anyone can watch.
My record in the 180-M events speaks for itself. You can go to the OPR rankings in my signature line to verify.
10 Jun -14th place - $9
21 Jun - 8th place - $19
22 Jun – 115th place - $0
22 Jun – 18th place - $9
24 Jun - 5th place - $47
27 Jun – 17th place - $9
06 Jul – 130th place - $0
07 Jul _ 41st place _ $0
07 Jul – 16th place - $9
10 Jul – 34th place - $0
In the money = 60% (6/10)
ROI = +132% ($102 for $44)
Recently I ran a series of 23 $5.50 SNGs for JohnPreston and finished with 21% ROI despite a bunch of bubble finishes. I feel confident that I can do as well or better for my BAP.
WEEK #2
During the second week I will compete in the Bugsy’s Bronze League. I will start with $110 and play 15 $3.30 SNGs, $20 $2.20 SNGs, and 15 $1.10 SNGs. I will make maximum use of happy hours to climb the league standings. If I am in one of the money positions at the end of these games, I will continue as long as I am in contention for the league bonus money. However, I will not under any circumstances exhaust more than $110 of the bankroll running this league. Finally, I will put $15 into a Limit $.50/$1.00 NLHE/Omaha HL half and half ring game at a time which I will announce in advance so that anyone can watch. This table has been my bread-and-butter game in the past.
I recently finished in the money (6th out of 916) in the weekly Silver League running for Cisk. Standings are here
I am ranked in the top 200 (of nearly 5,000 players) in the Bugsys All Time Sit & Go League. Standings for that are here
Special Note: I will be starting this stake with approximately $150 of unlocked Deposit Bonuses on Bugsy’s and will add all bonuses that are unlocked throughout the duration of this stake to the BAP bankroll.
Deposit Bonus Description
December 2006 50% Next Deposit Bonus
Amount Remaining
$160
Points to Unlock
65.7 for next $10 (4.3 / 70)
WEEK #3
The third week will be my MTT week on Bugsy’s. I have gained a lot of experience in these events during the past four years and have extensive notes on many of the regular players. I will play the following 20 tournaments (none will be re-buy events except the $100 GTD PLO8 unless I win an entry via satellite):
3 x $150 GTD NLHE ($5.50 buy-in)
3 x $200 GTD NLHE ($11.00 buy-in)
3 x NLHE ($3.30 buy-in)
2 x PL Omaha H/L ($1.10 buy-in)
2 x NLHE ($1.10 buy-in)
2 x NLHE ($2.20 buy-in)
1 x H.O.R.S.E. on Sunday ($1.10)
1 x $300 GTD NLHE ($16.50 buy-in)
1 x $10K Super League ($33.00 buy-in)
1 x 7-Card Stud H/L ($1.10 buy-in)
1 x $100 GTD PLO8 ($1.10; any re-buys will come from my personal bankroll)
I will pick my spots with these while constantly looking for overlays whenever possible. I will announce the $33 event in advance in my rail thread so that anyone can watch. I will use $4 of the bankroll for random re-buy satellites and private password events. I will keep detailed records of these in the rail thread and announce the events that I qualify for in advance of play.
If, for some reason, I can’t get into all of the events listed then I will put the unused entry fees back into the bankroll. I will not substitute other events in order to avoid potential confusion.
WEEK #4
I will finish up with a run at the Weekly Ring Game Gold League on Bugsy’s. In the past I have finshed among the top prize winners ($250) in this league.
$ 250.00 League Award (LEAGUE AWARD: 12 place Weekly Gold League) 2006-10-08 10:10:24
Go here for the official results
I will take the last $125 of the bankroll and play as much as possible while making maximum use of happy hours. I will observe the tables closely before sitting and utilize my knowledge of the players to select the best tables to sit at. An additional goal will be to cash out all of my remaining unlocked deposit bonuses and add them to the bankroll before closing off the stake at the end of week #4.
As you may have noticed, the bankroll is divided into four $125 segments. I will make four weekly distributions of 100% of the profits plus all of the remaining bankroll at the end of each segment.
Follow-up note in response to questions posted in this thread. I'm putting my responses here for all to see:
1. If there is a profit for the week, the weekly payout will be $125 plus 50% of the profit. For the unintended situation where there could be a loss for the week, the the distribution will be 100% of the the remnants of that week's $125 bankroll.
So, for example, if I wind up week #1 with a $40 profit then my running bankroll will be $540. The distribution will be $145 ($125 + $20) and the residual bankroll will be $395 (3 x $125 = $375 plus my share of the profits of $20, which I will leave in the bankroll as back-up for the Gold League in Week #4). In other words, I won't be making any distributions to myself until the end of the Stake. If I wind up Week #1 with a $40 loss, as an example, then the distribution for the week would be $85.
Any carry forward effect of flipping from profit to loss and visa versa from week to week will be adjusted fairly and appropriately in the final distribution at the end of the Stake. Obviously, I'm hoping that all four weeks are profitable. The bottom line is everyone gets their stakeback (up to the amount of the final bankroll) plus their share of 50% of the aggregate profit for all four weeks.
2. "Cake" means essentially that I will reimburse you for any losses you incur in this stake, from my share of the profits in my next BAP (or any future BAP) that you invest in. It comes from my profits and not any of the other investors, which means giving cake does not in any way dilute the current BAP investment.
Still confused about cake? Then please click here for a better explanation.
Thanks in advance to everyone for your support. Please begin applying for your shares here.
Best wishes,
Frank

Frank,
What a solid record, I hope I run into you on the tables some day! Always nice to see a dedicated player who is commited to solid low-limit hold'em! I'm new to this site, but I'm sure you'll see me around. Good luck on your BAP, hopefully I'll be able to get in on the next one.
Cheers

I like the way it's laid out, I might buy a few shares if it looks like you're getting close to selling this out.
