Dap's WCOOP Main Event SNG Heeb - $10 Shares - sold out - can't wait - please ship
CLOSEDBAP #10324 details:| Orig. sale amount: | $1000.00 | | Orig. # of shares: | 100.00 | | Current amount staked: | $0.00 | | # of shares sold: | 0.00 | | Initial share price: | $10.00 | | Backer's cut: | 50% | | Backer's cut (makeup): | 0% | Profit per share: | n/a (0.5%) | Status:| Current bankroll: | $730.00 | | Current share value: | $0.00 | | BR last updated: | July 23rd, 2007 | |
I will pay the $5 when I get home from work.
Introduction
So it seems that there will be many WCOOP BAPs offered and I thought about just putting up the $2600 Main Event up as a single MTT BAP, but I doubt I get enough people investing in that.
So what I am offering is a SNG heeb. I hope to start with $1000 and heeb it up to $2600. Once I get over $2600 then I will register for and play the $2600 WCOOP Main Event.
The Plan
I will Play 9, 18, and 45 man SNGs for this. I will mostly play turbos and I will stick to a 5% rule that stipulates that I can not register for a SNG unless it is less than 5% of the bankroll. I will post my stats in SNGs later on, but I figure I will just give you an idea of how I play. I have great stats in the $27 45 man turbos, but beyond that I don’t have impressive SNG stats. Most of this was when I was playing 9-12 at a time trying to become a SNG expert, but I lost interest and lost money. J
I do however feel that I can win consistently in these SNGs and I have turned $500 into $1300 in one week for a previous heeb I did. I did however tank in the follow up Heeb when I stepped up to the $60 45 mans, but this was mostly variance and horrific beats. I am still working to make that heeb profitable.
Why invest in this WCOOP BAP?
Well there are many WCOOP BAPs up and many more that will be offered, but for a $10 share you can own basically the equivalent of a $35 share of the $2600 Main event. Say I win $500,000 that $10 share would be worth ~$3350. If you put $10 into a direct buy-in BAP and the horse won $500,000 that share would be worth only ~$970. That is where the value comes in this BAP.
This will most likely be my only WCOOP BAP I offer.
Can I win this? Absolutely! I have cashed over $10,000 5 times over the last year. $23,000, $17500, $16000, $11,000, and $10,000 (values rounded – all documented in OPR or thepokerdb). That is 5 solid examples where I went deep in big events. I will admit the biggest event I have played is a $530 Buy-in. I do know though I will not become “money scared” at the end and if I see an opportunity I will go after it. I will not fold to the next pay scale, but I won’t be an idiot either!
Details, Details, Details…
If I do not get to $2600 and do not play in that event I will treat this as a normal Heeb and pay out accordingly.
I reserve the right to pull out 30% for taxes. I will only consider this if I win over $30,000. I have no idea how Stars would handle a $500,000 payout, but I will be taxed heavily on that so be aware.
If I win a lot payouts will be made online if Stars lets me. If not I will get the money into my bank and send out the money to everyone through my personal account. I will assume whatever costs there are for me to get you your money and thus I will determine the best way to do it.
If things are really going great I might look to playing one more WCOOP event, but I can only play the ones on the weekend and they are at a time where I have to “ask” my wife to play since we have two little children and it is hard to watch both of them while someone sits on the computer. J
I usually multi-table and it is up to me how many tables I play at once. I usually play 6-10 at a time, but will only do so if things are going good.
Once you invest in this you are in it until the end. You will not be able to sell your shares until after the Main Event!
Cake?
I have come to a decision to not offer cake anymore on any of my BAPs. Several other people also do not offer cake. I understand this is something that investors look for and I understand I might lose some investments because of this, but I truly feel that if someone invests in me regularly they will make money.
Rail
I pride myself in excellent rails, but now that I have a baby to care for it becomes extremely difficult to be as detailed as I like. So for this I will only post results. I will not post bust hands or any hands at all. I will keep a running bankroll and will notify the investors of anything important. This will cover all my SNGs that can be tracked through Sharkscope (not the 180 man SNGs).
If I do get to play the $2600 WCOOP I will make a separate rail and that will be very detailed. I plan on having my wife visit her family with the kids or having family stay with us that weekend so I can concentrate.
Timeframe
I will start this August 1st and run it up to the main event.

FYI - I have been known to buy up my BAPs if I am running good so if you are interested please reserve now. I will not sell any of my shares and if I win anything substantial I will buy this out instantly.

If you'd heeb it to $3,600 by then and ship the stakeback and play the main event risk free, I'd probably buy a big portion. I doubt you will do it though, just putting it out there as a suggestion.
