About Me : My name is Max Ludwig, I've played poker online for over 6 years. As a student throughout my card playing career, I wouldn't consider myself a professional poker player, however I have profited between $25,000 and $85,000 annually over the last 5 years with only 2 losing months that I can remember throughout that time period. While my success has come predominately in sit n go's and heads up sit n go's, I originally began my career as a tournament player. I've been exploring the opportunity to play more tournaments now that I'm in my final semester of school and the University of Maine and only taking 1 class. Through PTP I would like to develop a tournament bankroll separate from my sit n go bankroll, and PTP is the perfect option to start from scratch. Kurt Fitzgerald (kurt23x) asked if I'd like to accompany him on this trip, and I decided that I'd take part.
Previous 5 Year Annual Statistics :
2005: $25,453
2006: $66,659
2007: $43,777
2008: $85,513
2009: $74,130
The Plan : I will be arriving in Vegas on the 8th and leaving on the 13th and plan on playing a fair amount of events. Here is a tentative list of the events I'd like to play.
MON 2/8/10 12pm $550 No-Limit
TUE 2/9/10 12pm $340 No-Limit
WED 2/10/10 12pm $340 No-Limit
THU 2/11/10 12pm $1,070 No-Limit
Cut : 85/15 No Makeup
Rail : Rail will be limited, but I promise daily updates throughout the trip
Taxes : 25% will be taken out of any score over 5K. If the BAP ends up over 30K I will hire an accountant and give people the option to get their money pre-tax, though you will need to provide me the necessary personal info to do so.
Payouts : On any decent sized scores payouts will have to be done via check/money order
Expenses : No expenses will be taken up front. If the bankroll reaches $10k, I will be taking out $650 for expenses.
Trust : This is my first tournament BAP, I've previously run a day long Heads Up BAP. I've been a regular on Pokerstars for 6 years now, and have built a reputation within the Heads up community whom I think would vouch for me. Further, I will be staying with Kurt Fitzgerald (kurt23x) and we'll be easy to reach through draqq if you need to get a hold of us. My goal here is to begin developing a reputation within this community and to continue earning people money through my success (as well as making money myself).
Transfers : Pokerstars only please.
