MTT coach for hire
Sig says enough, I can beat the highest stake tournaments online. I offer up solid insight and situational analysis.
As far as costs go I am not sure but I want to see if there is interest here
I have noticed alot of other "coaches" trying to get your money in this forum. They have nice sales pitches and bolded headings.
choosing a coach is an important step in your poker career. if you pick a lame coach then you not only waste money you waste time you could have been using getting better.
Coaches should never itemize what they have planned for you, because poker itsself is a pretty unorganized game. I feel the only way to teach someone effectivley is discussion back and forth. I ask questions, I dont tell you when you have 10 big bets, always do this. I will tell you your various options, and then why each option is good in different spots.
Dont believe any coach that guarantees he or she will make you better. coaches can really only do so much and then the rest is up to you.

payment: would be a % of bap profits and a future %age of my profits for the following 2-3 months. i was thinking half of any bap profits would be fair and 25% of my next 3 months profit.

i understand if this aint what you are looking for
just throwing it out there

Hahaha no offense taken. I know the problems that most players run into while playing tag - too much t and misplaced ag, most of the time they justify losing by losing flips when they call under 10 big blinds.
Im planning on coaching you (and others) optimal long run winning poker. I will teach you how to set yourself up for wins while minimizing your losses, critical points to accumulate easy chips and how to take advantage of the typical MTT player.
/end pitch

I am interested in some sound coaching. How payment for said coaching would be done. My game has drastically improved over the last year and I would like to continue to move forward, and improve to a more consistent winning play. I have finally gotten my first FT for a large field event, Micro $1.10 donk feast. But still a nice victory for me and I am steadily cash in a good bit of the tourney's I play in. What can you help me improve on?
1. how would the service be handled.
2. What are the fees for your services. (i.e. flat rate or % of profit)
3. How will the coaching administered (yim, ima, skype)
4. will shadowing be a part of the service.
5. How long will the coach last. (1 month, 2 month 3 month)
6. What is the playing style you'll be teaching. (LAG, TAG)
7. If % based fees, would % profit for all tourney's played during the coaching time be ok, what would you consider the needed % to be. I am thinking 25%-30%.
8. How many hours of coaching per week would be offered.
9. Would i need to start a BAP to raise a BR for the coaching, and how much of a BR will be needed. Using the 5% BR management rule
10. Will you be teaching only no limit holdem, or will you be teaching other games as well.
11. Would you want weekly payments or payments per tourney
I know i am asking a lot of question but I feel for me to pick the right coach for me these are the ones needing to be answered.

if more interest is generated I think it might be in both teacher and students best interest that I do group sessions. This will allow better understanding and involvement. Everyone can contribute, I will teach my methods and provide insight, other students can learn and discuss amongst themselves and myself. It also saves alot of time and generates much more content, also if a student misses a session I could send them the chat logs and whatever else, maybe a bit of one on one to supplement the lesson.
as for payment I would like a smallish nominal up front deposit and then a split of future profits for X numbers of months. I will be providing some very usable content that applies to your stake level, ill explain some things that work in $30 mtts and what works in lower level mtts, and i will tell you when certain things dont apply at certain stakes. If i made a $109 strategy post, odds are it would not be effective at the $5 level. I will always be sure to make everything applicable to all my students.
I dont plan on having a ton of students, probably 4 to 6 or 7 being the upper most limit.
Things however may change in terms of how i will be paid, this is sort of just preliminary stuff at the moment, and I have only 'coached' certain people (friends mostly) on an infrequent basis kind of just doing favors. I know my knowledge is valuable to everyone who is willing to listen and learn.

I have some serious interest in moving up levels to improve on my game. I've done well at levels ranging from $2 - 11 buy-ins but I want more than that. Unfortunately, I probably wouldn't be able to be coached until after April 5th when my SNG BAP comes to an end. But improving my MTT game is next on my list. I would be willing to give away up to 25% of my profit from the BAP which I would hope would total $500+ by the end.
