Looking for some MTT help
Let me give a bio of myself.
First and foremost I love playing poker. Over the 3+ years I have played, I am a losing player. No ifs ands or buts about it. I dont play alot, but I play when I can.
By nature I am a VERY competitive person and it kills me not to be good at something. I have managed to cash some mtt's here and there but never really got deep in anything. I think my largest cash was a few years ago in a $40 mtt on UB for $550ish.
Like I mentioned, I dont play alot. I run a golf course my father in law owns and I work some really long hours. I have the evenings and Sundays to play. I consider myself a pretty TAG type player. I have never had anyone help me with my play so I dont really know where to begin. To be completely honest, I play cards....I dont play poker. And what I mean by that is I dont really consider odds/implied odds/pot odds/ etc when I play. I pretty much just play my cards. I know thats probably not the best approach and could explain my lack of success but thats why I am here. I want to be the best possible player that I can be. Whether that means being more consistant, or becoming a more well rounded player then so be it. I know there is no magic solution or we'd all be winners, I just want to be better. There are some incredible players here at PTP and I really feel like I need to take advantage of some of the vast knowledge here.
