need to figure out way to change # of shares purchased after you enter it (if the person doesn't pay, or wants out... or trades their shares)

I also got that error msg that moss got the 1st time i tried to sell shares to coronababy. i just closed out and checked BAP again and it was given anyway.

I would like to be able to use my old thread and still use the new system, is this possible? Or can we re-create new threads and have them manually unlocked? ty

OK 2 things:

1: change the %share thing, so that it remains the same throughout, and not changes as each person buys the shares. eg, 100 shares, 50% + SB, each share is worth, 0.5% + SB, and not worth 25% for the first 2 bought (hope this makes sense

2: dont have it so that the thread is locked until you pay. Obv people who dont pay should get gear and lose the BAP, BUT, if some-one sets up a BAP for a tourny starting in 1 hour, it is necessary for it to go up immediatly

The selling shares error for reference. This can be ignored as shares actually do get sold:

Ok 2 new things,

1: let the BAP owners (player) change the shares owned by stakers, with out the need of a mod.

2: make it so people do NOT have to post to get shares in thier name. for example, i reserve shars for JSBRIS and he does it for me, moss will also buy shares of him for me if i am away etc.

there should be an option when you are 'confirming' that the backer has sent you money, there should be options for:

paid and reserved

where is this my BAP area where we report our winnings or loses? Did something mess up bc i reopened my BAP when it closed and sold out?

when the BAP sells out do NOT have it locked, it is very handy to check the BAPs for backers/players to posting there with updates

Selling shares
Since dap accidentally attributed me with two shares instead of one, I decided to use the sell shares option to solve the problem. However it also has errors.

* Firstly, it wouldn't let me enter the number of shares to sell - it was all or nothing.
* Secondly, since the BAP hadn't yet commenced, shares should be sold back at full value - not zero as the system specified.

Quick note:

The "Division by zero" error noted above is one that galaxiousmon is aware of and will be fixing when he is back in town by Thursday. For the time being you will need to ignore the error, and update the bankroll manually once the BAP starts. When this problem is fixed, the bankroll will be updated as the shares are being sold.

He will also be working on other fixes as needed when he returns. In the meantime contact us other admins for assistance.

there should be a PM Shareholders button to send any updates and the rail. It is a pain to enter three names at a time.

how do i reopen my thread? i of course am a good person to test it cause i am obv a retard, and messed up the share amounts and it closed

I also believe that you should be able to reopen thread after selling last shares, I didnt know it locked thread after I sold out.

So now I cant edit the title.

how do we end the BAP? I have no idea. I finished mine and paid out to people but how do I finish it so they get staker points.

I like the system - just some tweaks to work out

This should be resolved now. Also, it is correctly calculating bankroll now when you sell shares. This means any partially sold BAPs might get some funny bankroll numbers since some sales did not increase the bankroll. Just manually set your bankroll to the staked amount once all shares have been sold and you should be set.

Thanks for being patient as I am out of town and I can't get to repairs as quickly as I'd like.
