Whats up guys and girls. Pretty cool little site you've got going on here. First off I'll say a bit about me, and then I'll ask my questions. I've been playing online for about 3 years now, pretty much exclusively MTT's. The site I've played the most on is Bodog and my biggest finish there is 3rd in the 100k guaranteed, but I've had a few cashes around the same level as that (8kish). However, I change sites a LOT, usually i'll play one site for about 2 months before I decide I want to move to a different one to play at more. This doesn't mean that I just don't play on certain sites, it's just that I definitely have sporadic favorites.
When I first started playing online for small stakes, a large tourney would be like 1000 people, how times have changed! Logically, this increase in tournament field has made tournaments a lot more of minefields than any of us would like to admit. That is the reason I've started playing pretty much exclusively, tournaments that only have about 500ish people in it and have some sort of enhanced starting chip count. I've just started doing this in the last 6 months, and i've been doing pretty well with it. Unfortunately, due to cash problems in RL, I'm having some problems funding these larger buy-in tourneys.
Luckily I found this site, right? I've already recognized a few of the names in the forums, I was just in a tournament like 3 days ago with Superstackin on Bodog (the 30k guaranteed maybe?).
I understand the concept of the site and it looks to me like it's already off the ground pretty well. I also understand what it will take to keep the site moving and I want everyone to know I will do what it takes to help out with my fair share. What my hopes are for this site are that over the next month or so, I will meet friends, backers, and horses that will help build a network of people that will help purchase a BAP to run a series of these tourneys. After I make every backer 10x their investment (I'm confident what can I say) i'll restart the BAP at a little higher stakes.
The money I make will definitely recirculate to other people on this site as well. I understand the meaning of "online community". I will attempt to stay on AIM as much as possible so that anyone who wants someone to talk poker with or have someone come cheer them on, will at least have me!
My other responsibilities at the moment are a girlfriend, college, and thats about it. I make it a rule to not play before 1 in the afternoon because I feel that it's slightly tougher fields that play at those times. (Plus who the hell wants to wake up that early)
I understand that in order to achieve the goals I want to reach with the site that I'm going to have to slowly gain trust with other people's money, which leads to my questions.
1. I understand the concept of don't beg for money! What I do want to know is that since I do normally play higher stakes than people would want to let a new guy use, do I just attempt to start out borrowing small amounts of money? It's so much like apples and oranges when you play a 100$ tournament with 350 people in it compared to a 5$ tournament with 4000 people in it, I'm pretty confident I can adjust, but I doubt it will be as good of results as the other games.
2. What does HEEB mean? I understand BAP is Buy a Piece. What i've gathered from the forums is that HEEB is like a conditional stake, (i.e. I give you 10$ u turn it into 50$)
3. My AIM messenger name is rustyfuac, will you be my friends? Lol.
Almost forgot!

I need to link those, huh?
Also, the 4.40 tourneys are my room-mate playing, he doesn't know my password, I log him on to play and he takes the cost out of my rent lol. I also play them sometimes to warm up if I have played in a couple of days but I don't play SNG's regularly.
