Default Can this be done?

I have missed out on several BAPs due to large share prices. Any suggestions on how PTPers can pool funds together all the while showing accountability for investments?

I am curious if it is possible to create a BAP to specifically invest in a BAP, with each investor having a "piece" of the share(s) of the BAP being purchased, the BAP description would link to the BAP being purchased. I realize this does come at a price due to PTP fees, and such, but this may allow the small investor to invest in something that they normally could not afford.

The problems I can see is how cake would/could be handled, etc. Any thoughts?

Wouldn't cake be handled as normal?
"pool bap" would be treated as a single BAP. The pool investors would have to do their share division.

no, you cannot do that. Sometimes people try to pool for shares in Shooting Off. But creating a BAP for that kind of purpose is not allowed.

if the share price is that much of a problem., you can ask an investor if you can buy a fractional share. That can be done by anyone with a BAP (i.e. .5 of a share, etc.), but the horse may not want do that.

Note that there IS a way around it, even if the horse won't do it.

Find other people who want partial shares. Pick the one with the most invested in the site to do the admin for it. Rest of you ship to him. He then purchase a share then SAPs partial shares out to the other investors.

Unless the horse has a clause in their BAP ad that you can't SAP partial shares this should work.

I'm not sure whether PTP would allow the SAPs to be put through at $0.01 each - as it's a transfer of shares to their correct owner, rather than an actual sale you may be allowed to do that to avoid the SAP fee.

EDIT: If you do it this way then cake will be done properly by the system.

Cake owed can be checked in the 2nd post of the MF rail here.
If you owe me cake you can pay it off at $0.35 on the $1 (unless I'm invested in a BAP of yours which is currently in profit).
