The Well: Herschelw
For those of you who don't know what a well is, here's the most amusing description I've read...
A stranger is being shown around a village that he has just become part of. He is shown a well and his guide says "On any day except Tuesday, you can shout any question down that well and you'll be told the answer." The man seems pretty impressed, and so he shouts down, "Why not on Tuesday?" A voice from in the well shouts back, "Because on Tuesday, it's your day in the well."
So essentially, in this thread, I'll answer any question you have about playing professionally, the game, myself, or any random question you have that might not even have to do with poker.
For those of you new to the site who don't know me......
I've been playing professionally for about 2 and a half years. I got my start here back in the day when PTP staking was still called neverbeg. Stakes into the nightly $100k which I FTed and then the Sunday million the following month gave me the beginnings of a decent BR and I never looked back. When I started taking $10 stakes on ptp I never thought in a million years I would be a low limit semi-pro/pro poker player 4 or 5 months later. I played mtt's full time for roughly 2 years and then switched to full ring cash games and coaching as my primary focuses. The hard work and dedication I have put into poker along with a little luck and a lot of skills I learned along the way have allowed me to do many things I never would have expected to get the opportunity to do. I've met a ton of incredible people here at PTP and I definitly enjoy giving back to this community in any way I can.
Hopefully in this thread I can share a story or two and maybe some poker wisdom along the way.....
Note: I've found these extremely interesting on 2p2 and I'm glad GambleAB brought the convention over to PTP. Thanks for becoming a big part of our community Aaron.

DJK......AJK plays such a boring style. DJK is fascinating and imo a really great poker mind. He understand so many things that are above the heads of many of the top players online. He's above the rim in many aspects of his game imo. AJK puts me to sleep to watch but he does win and win and win.

Considering the person we are standing in for is Jim and generally Jim seems like the marrying kind I think the decision has to be based on who will be more annoying long term. I have a friend who's theory on women(which I agree with) is that all women are crazy and henceforth success in marriage will be dependent on which woman is the type of crazy you can grow to tolerate and love. Karen is someone I think you'd want to make love to but not someone you'd want to hang out with. Wayyyyyy to bad crazy bitchy etc.... Pam is would be really cool to hang out with so I think the choice has to be Pam if we're talking marriage and Karen if we're talking one night stand.
