building a brand
Well, thats pretty much what all of u must do here on PTP if u want to get backed. Your nick is a product that u should try to build up to a product that everybody wants a piece of. Of course stats is VERY important in this, and if u have great stats it will help u to sell out most BAP's. But stats alone isnt enough, its also about getting your product (nick) known here. That can be done by posting in SO, giving out stakes and buy into BAP's. A lot of attn donks will of course be very usefull too
By investing in others, and having money out in BAP's/stakes u makes your product stronger too. Just like offering good service is important when selling cars. For the buyers its important that if something goes wrong, that there are service available (like money invested that would give something back with a rolling. or even more money invested then the BAP then there are pretty much no danger for rolling). Remember that all your doings here is important for your brand. Going on forumtilt in SO will always hurt your brand, in the same way as all gear and R/A's.
But even if u have a very good product, thats not enough to sell out anything. If you have build your product up to be something like a Ferrari, it doesnt help much if the place u try to sell it are in the desert with no roads at all... If u have good stats in sng's but very bad in tourneys it will still be difficult to sell out a BAP for big series like FTOPS with high buy ins. Or if u do pretty well in $5-$11 tourneys, its not given that u will sell out BAP's for $100 rebuy So make sure u build a good product (brand) and that u sell it there its asked for. So if u are a Ferrari u could sell a lot of cars in Monaco, like u would be able to sell all your sng-action if u have great sng-stats. And be doing this u will prob be able to sell action for some tourneys too, since u would have loyal investors that would reward u by buying pieces of games u r not +ev in.. Just like selling a lot of Ferrari's in Monaco will create some demand in France and other Country's around Monaco..
Oh that was it for now - I hope this will help some

 Sure
I made this because its scary to see how many ppl that are building a terrible product here. Take "I_swallow_donks", he couldnt understand why his BAP didnt sell yesterday - For me its scary that he even thought that he could sell a BAP at all. All the infractions, the gear, how he handles himself, and terrible stats on top of that. And he thinks he should be able to sell out a BAP.. sigh.. And now Bobby finally have found some proves for that he is underaged, witch shouldnt surprise anybody...

B/c i invest in them

random and true.
Some people of PTP just don't understand that all they do is being recorded and it all plays a part into what others think of them and whether or not they would invest.
I pass over +eV players all the time and I invest in some neutral eV players only because they do so much for the site and I want them to stay around.
The only thing you take to the grave with you is your name....you should keep it as clean and reputable as possible.

And you pen similies like comparing two things to each other and then cross referencing them and making another comparison.

I only win when Im staked. Some people just say it, I have shown it to be true many times over. Im really bad on my own and without a structured plan.
any upward spike on SS or any of my big wins on OPR, 99% came staked.

Plus, I am not really playing for a "living", so I reinvest almost everything into the site.
