makeup? my gf uses makeup, does that count? j/k
i guess you mean you pay back the stake if you loose right? but why would someone take a stake if he had to pay back if he loses? he would be better off with a loan.

no
make up is
i stake a guy for 5 mtts
he is otm in 4
5th 1 he makes final 2 tables
b4 he can take any profit he has to pay back the net sb not just that 1 mtt.
if he loses everythign i stake in him he has no financial need to pay me anything, only if i feel he is a good enough horse to continaully stake.
similar to a series stake

some people do that. If someone stakes me and I lose, I try to either restake when I can or pay back on future wins for them. of course, i just like having really good NB karma ;o

5 separate MTTs? or a series of 5 MTTs?
Wouldn't make much sense if you were talking about a series....most likely talking about separate ones on separate days and stuff, but let me know

Yes that is what he is talking about. Or even a different stake all together.
I think the make up is fair, but it still requires both staker and stakee keep good records.
You basicailly just need to know if you are + or - for the staker.

personaly as mainly a staker i like this bcuz it encourages the players to only apply for stakes they think they can hand or they will be hind so much in make up that they will take a while to ever see any profit

I always feel terrible when I lose for a staker. Whenever I win big for them I make sure I covered any loss they put on me. For instance, Dacak has staked me some sick stakes recently, and I cashed two rebuys then did not cash a $215 mtt and a rebuy MTT. Next time I run for him, if I cash big I have it worked out in my mind I am going to cover what I lost then do 50/50+sb.
For my Buy a Piece where I ran three $55 MTT and did not cash, I have already told all my stakers that once I get enough funds I will rerun this stake for them.
A lot of the times I do not cash bigger buy-in MTTs I either promise those guys I will stake them in return in the future or if I can afford it, I send back their stake after I bounce out of the tournament.
Showing respect for other people's money is important and will get them to continually give you chances if you don't do well for them the first time around. Most people who stake me consistently are guys that I have grown to have good relationships with and are guys that I know trust me 100% when they send me money to run a tournament for them.

I fully support this as well. It makes it like everyone you stake is on a series stake, except you are shipping buyins 1 or 2 at a time.
Players don't like it but I don't think it is fair on single mtt stakers. For this sole reason I only stake series and dont throw out random mtt stakes. If this system were commonplace here we would see a lot more single quick stakes put out.
What would be really cool was if this was implemented into the staking system.
