Default Staking large numbers of people in a SNG

Would it work? Say putting 50 people in a 180 man, at what point would it no longer be +ev, if at all?

would have to get a winner and a few other cashes to make a decent profit.

a first place would still leave you 1 buyin in the red.

Obviously the percentages would have to be heavily tipped in the favour of the staker. But I still think this would work, especially if you put the stakers share of the winnings in a pool that all players receive (unless if you play terribly), winning players getting a better cut.

considering 18 people get paid in a 180man, putting 50 in would not be very wise.
