Easy fold AA?
I haven't been at the table more than one orbit, but because he has 3+ buyins I'm inclined to give him a little respect. When he shoves the river I have to fold right? Also, do you fold the turn if the board doesn't pair fives?

That is the goofiest HH that I have ever seen.
Fold river. He either has a flush or flopped a set. We beat neither.

re raise the flop and see what he does. if he re pops you, then either let it go, or just call and see the turn. most likely he has a small set if he re-raises your re-raise. if he calls then checks the turn, pop him again. if he calls the turn and then shoves the river, let it go. if he checks the river, you can either take a stab at it or check behind. but i think you def have to re-raise him on the flop, let him know here you have a strong hand and that should control the rest of the hand. its been a year since ive played any 100NL though so my thinking could be wrong. or my wording of it could be wrong, lol.

I dont think he had it... just cause he has more than the buyin doesnt mean he is good he could of been pushing the table and got lucky.. if you honestly had A-A, I cant see him having more than a J or a Q, both of which you beat, knowing you'd probably wouldnt call on river without the nuts and getting his way again.

I don't get why you're calling the turn just to fold this river. I like a turn raise, because the 7 counterfits JQ which is a big possibility, and he's going busto with JQ here. Raise the turn and get it in then.
What were you hoping for OTR?

I dont see any way that he has a full house here. he's not going to shove a super strong hand - seems he clearly wants you out of the hand. JQ, hell even AQ maybe.
With no other info I probaly wont be getting all in either, but Id raise the turn and find out where I was. Why are you just calling the turn if you think he was on a flush draw?

...and $280 into a $70 pot to me means plz fold
a fullhouse or nut flush here looks to check raise or value bet not overbet

I'm assuming all the following info based on him being a competent player, which I find most players w/ big stacks in shorthanded cash to be. Occassionaly you get a luckbox who has just been on fire, but they usually don't hang around with that big stack for too long.
Couple things here : I think the suggestion of a turn raise here is probably not bad. This way I'm forcing him to a tough decision with a hand like a flush draw w/ gutshot or just a naked flush draw. On the other hand, I'm definitely losing value from a hand like AQ/KQ where he'd be likely to fold to a turn raise and is drawing to two outs. Had the turn not paired the board, counterfeiting QJ which is a huge part of his range here, I would probably have more seriously considered folding the turn.
As for the river overbet when the flush card hits, that doesn't necessarily scream "please fold" to me. Up to that point I had played my hand like a flush draw, something like AKhh or A10hh would be completely reasonable and he might shove a full house there to get max value. If I were him and had a full house I'm shoving that river every single time, no question. What I'm hoping happens on the river is that he makes a 1/2 pot bet and I can just call and get a showdown. My hand absolutely has some showdown value here if the flush card doesn't hit, but I don't want to put my whole stack in there if I can avoid it.

your line of thinking being dominant is exactly why i overbet huge hands.
maybe not4x the pot, but somtimes i'll fire pot size to pot size x2 bets with the nuts. remmber a 2x the pot bet only has to be called 25% as often as a half-the-pot bet to make it as profitable
