Why dont they show the cards when all in on Pokerstars ring games?

Likely because in a live cash game they aren't shown. The losing hand has the option of just being mucked if he wasn't the last to make an aggressive action into the pot.

I don't think it has anything to do with the live ring game comparison. If a player wishes to, they can request to see what the player mucked, although its highly frowned upon in live poker, but theres nothing wrong with it.

You can just as easily go into the instant HH and check what was mucked.

No clue why they don't show cards when all in in a cash table though, I hate it though.
