I think if you have a tight image you might be able to checkraise the river here. It seems unlikely that veritch would have a set here, assuming that he's at least reasonable, as no person in their right mind would check a set on such a draw heavy flop. It seems more likely that he has a hand like a9s or a5s or is even betting a one pair hand for value here.

That said, checkraising the river here is going to look like a busted draw a lot of the time because you can't expect him to believe that you wouldn't three bet the turn w/ a set or two pair seeing as how there are approximately 1.6 million straight/flush draws on the turn in a multiway pot and, again, you would want to jam with a made hand there. The more I write the more I think check/fold is the right play, actually. Your line is going to look too fishy.

i think check/fold is better. why did you limp in PF? i think if you had raised PF you could have set that hand up better. im just getting back into cash games though, so what do i know.

Just fold.

And flat calling the turn and c/r the river isn't very believable anyhow. The only possible hands you'd do this with is 34 and maybe 22, both of which fold the turn so your range is nearly all bluffs. Don't think he ever folds enough to make a bluff here profitable, especially since he minraised the turn and is probably pretty bad.

I don't really like the raise with two limpers in front with this type of hand. If you get reraised behind, then you have to lay down the hand.

I would rather see a cheap multi-way flop here.

As for shoving the river, I guess you could, but I personally am not making that move very often if ever. Against these ****tards, all you need to do is play straight forward poker.
