either bet or check raise.
only bet if you think the super lag will raise you though. probably better off check raising him if you are positive he is betting at it.

well my thoughts were the exact same, im the type that rarely check in this situation when facing 6players and a flush draw, as at the 1/2 limit, adn in my city u will find alot of donks will chase a flush for any amount, ive seen $1k calls on flush draws
but super lag is who i wanted to make a move and sure enough....
I check
player 1 thought for a minute then checked
player 5 bet $100 -- what i wanted
I push $180
player 1 thought for like 2mins, then folded KQ,
player 5 insta called, when i shoved and the other player were left to act he had the $85 out on the table already, he called out of turn..
player 5 flips over JsQd, i fricking draw
when i saw his hand i stood up ad put on my jacket i just knew what was coming
PLayer 1 folded Kd
player 4 said he folded Ks
and player 7said he folded an 8h
leaving 4 outs
turn was the 8d
river Jh
i know its just a bad beat really, but sometimes i just wonder if the checkraise is the best way to play this, or better to bet out an oversize bet of say $100+ and just take the pot on the flop since its a draw heavy board.

You are being 100% results oriented.
You got exactly what you wanted. The guy put all his money in when you are a 70-30 favorite. If you could run that same situation 1000 times over, you would have a substantial amount of money.
