PLO Cash question? what do you do in this spot?
ok this is a 6 handed .25/.50 PLO cash game on stars. UTG raises the pot to $1.75. i have AAK7 suited in hearts. i then re pop it the pot to $6. i then get three callers behind me. the guy who raised utg initially then goes all in for $24.
what the hell do you do in this spot? do you just muck? you obv dont flat call. so it is either going all in for your remaining $42 more or just mucking. this turns out to be a sick hand, and i know i will rarely ever see another one like this where you get five players going all preflop in omaha.
but what do you do in my spot?

well no youre right. but the hands looks bad due to the fact that we went 5 handed into the pot know what i mean. when i re raised all in there there was only one person in the pot. and my all in was double his. so i figured it would be instant mucks to the people behind me. going hu in a pot my hand is good.
i dont know. just a really weird pot if you ask me. rarely do you see 5 way all ins in omaha.

I ran the hands in CardPlayer's omaha calculator. It has u as 19.5% before the flop. The problem with naked Aces in multiway pots is that it's near impossible for you to win unimproved, and it's also likely that 1 of your Aces is in another hand.
That being said, you're never in horrible shape and if you have the bankroll to be playing comfortably at the level you're in, I dont mind stacking off with em preflop. Just be prepared for a horse race heh.

id just call the initial raise, id get it in if someone repopped behind and i thought i could get it in two or three way. THe problem with aces in plo is that it is very difficult to get your entire stack in pre so you have to be tricky to hope it happens and then play cautious post if it doesn't.

you played it fine. In a higher buy-in game with higher blinds, that re-all-in you made probably would have gotten you heads up with all that dead money from people calling in there... which is certainly the most ideal situation for your hand. SO... the answer is RIGHT MOVE... WRONG TABLE.

ummm... ship it in everytime.
Trust me right play unlucky. You isoloated to get it all in hu. If the other players are going to call off there entire stack with random cards than they really want to gamble, there is nothing you can do.

explain why hes wrong?
the limits u are playing greatly effect the hands they play, naked aces are so dangerous in PLO, + u essentially are play 2 hands here, AA and Ak, that 7 is a terible card in your hand, it will do nothing for your hand unless K72 flops, if anything else flops k7X , that x card is going to give all straight draws.
u always want to see a flop cheaply with naked aces, i wouldve just flat called the first raise of $1.75, u want a 5 way pot here, cause u looking to flop an Ace or 10JQ the only 2 flops u can continue with after the flop, if u miss u fold cheaply, if u hit u will get paid off big time 8/10 times here.

wouldnt fold for a few reasons...first being AAxx is fav heads up and also his range is weighted toward KKds and QQds given the action....not 4 randoms imo

FERNNUTZ: raises $1.25 to $1.75
jaeh00d: ???
I would fold here. No sense putting any more than $.50 in. After all, you only have one pair.

I think you played this hand good. You gotta think your push will make people fold there and that you are gonna get it in against one, maybe two people. A pot in which AA are a slight favorite in. In a cash game, where you can reload, slight favorite hands add up over time. It is unfortunate that you got called by every player here, but I dont think that is going to happen here enough to make this a fold.
I play this the exact same way.

how is AA a slight favourite? hes 80% to lose, why risk your whole stack on 20%? even when u get heads up u are no more than 52% and 3 handed is about 35-40%, AA in omaha IS NOT the same as AA in NLH
