ya, flat call with position as long as you have him as an aggressive player (or a stupid one for that matter).

Call flop and min raise turn looks insanely strong to any cash game regular. Great line to take with a bluff.

Id flat call with position here see if he wants to fire again and also we get more chance of a river call. Say he has AJ here, the implied threat of your turn raise has him thinking he has to put $44 in now and then check-call for the rest of his stack on the river to get to showdown. However if we flat call and then bet half pot on river he can make that call knowing he gets to showdown so prob calls AJ.

looks like a weak ace to me from the BB; if he's a good player he's stop betting a big pocket pair that maybe he has you on, if he's a more laggy player he might be stop betting a low to mid ppair (77, 99, TT, 44, 55) thinking you whiffed with paint). in any case, his line is perfect for you OoP barreling into this turn. with only two real scare cards remaining (hypothetically if he is carrying A7+ etc) i'm not really worried about letting him draw to those odds if he's going to value bet his weak ace on the river thinking i'm bricking.
