I don't care for the smoothcall pre because you're not guaranteed a HU pot. Either blind is getting decent odds to come in with a wide range.

I flat with big hands pre more than most but I hate doing it when someone makes a small pf < 3x raise because so many people behind you are getting a great price, especially the blinds.

i dont mind it, but your flop raise is too big and looks too strong. I would have made it like 1750.

It's chardonk, it doesn't matter what you 'rep' b/c doesn't have to be much when you 3-bet his raise.
Flatting here with 55 BB's is bad vs. a good player.

he knows he has an aggressive image especially since you know him from nb....your reraising range is pretty big preflop (or should be probably) ....i dont like the flat either
i usually dont try to outplay players that i know are better then me...i play pretty standard bc i find sometmies they outhink themselves

The only reason you should be flatting preflop is to play for a double up.
obv you don't need double here...
Also, are you aware of how light chardonk 3-bets?

You need to R/R more pre-flop, your losing value by flatting here. Even if you've never played with the guy flatting him is suicide, especially someone of chardonk's calibre.
