Do you call?
seems obvious, but with the blinds and the fact that there are 6 people left and 6th pays $450 and first pays $3500 - always call? Obviously the results suck, but I am questioning should I call this. I think I should have just folded knowing that I likely can outplay them. Any PP and I am flipping - not great with 50BBs.

you did outplay them getting it in as a 3-1 fav. If he doesn't hit, you don't second guess yourself (I don't think). I think this is a call to go for the win.

disregard, i didn't see that it was 4 max.
against a reasonable range (99+, AQ+), you're basically flipping. i guess it comes down to whether or not you expect him to play both his strongest and his weakest hands the same way. if you think there's no way he's ever doing this with AA and KK, (and also think it's likely he'd do this with lower connected or broadway crap) then you have too much of an edge to pass up here, i believe.

i had this happen once to me in a live tournament...10 were left and the final table sat 9. i was UTG at a fairly tight table and raise 6xBB with AKs and the only ultra aggresive player in BB who had taken down the last probably 7-8 pots with either a steal or re-steal, i had been stealing a pot or 2 every orbit from many different positions including a few from UTG so i figured he was just trying to pull another move, i call his shove of about 80bb's and he shows AQo, sure enough in the window a Q, i didn't improve and finished 10th bubbling the FT, i thought about this hand a ton but ultimately to go for the win i think a call was neccesary, i had the right read, knowing i was ahead, just a unlucky twist.....

winning that hand does not guarantee me the tourney and if I fold I am guaranteed to have a shot. I just hate getting all my chips in pre-flop with a big stack, but 3 handed it is pretty darn hard to fold AK there.
