a higher bet on the flop may have given you a better idea....
it was a decent raise pre-flop so AK would def have been within his range for calling it as well as even KK for that matter... with a bigger bet on flop you may have given yourself a better chance of getting away from it actually ..cause if he calls a larger bet you gotta fear the worst then I think... still early enough in the tourney to lay it down in my opinion at that point rather then calling his re-raise allin...

Anything I bet that he wouldn't call with a flush draw is putting half my stack in, something I don't want to do.
KK would reraise me here, it's outta his range.

Yup looks like a level one trap you fell into. Check call flop, Low raise followed by a Re-raise Push on Turn. $20 SNG too so I suspect the play is pretty good. With this in mind with both 9man - 45man SNG's this early in the SNG the blinds are soo low it's not worth the risk to play a big pot. I'd toss the hand after the flop. Make a bigger raise on the flop and if he calls your raise then check fold the turn and move on. Guy flopped the nuts though, how would you play if you flopped the nuts?

Bad assumption, not stellar play...

I think I flat the turn and probably pay off a non diamond river. What hand does he flat the flop and call a re raise on the turn with??? He could definitely have something like KQ with the Kd but he wont call the re raise. I really dislike the turn raise here...

And bet a tad more on the flop
