I think that once you see the flop you're doing the right thing by getting as many chips in the pot as possible. With high only hands you certainly don't want to play it slow and let someone catch a backdoor low and you're a favorite here anyway.

That said, I generally try to play high only hands from later position; I hate limping in early position, having someone raise and get like three callers and then end up putting more chips in the pot cause the price is so good, then flopping the nut flush draw or an oesd and having to decide to fold what might be a +ev spot or putting it all in.

i dislike the re-shove on a draw even a double draw this early in a tourney. The people who are just looking to gambel have not had enough time to get koed yet. plus flipping this early just sets you up for the rollercoaster. better to call that way if you miss your draws you can get away from the hand.

Wow.....

it sure appears I am in the minority....and I'm not trying to be overly harsh Doc...

but unlike the other responders I can't find ANYTHING you did right on this hand.

I don't call pre-flop....I check the flop or bet min and fold to a large raise....

We have to understand something here guys...THE BLINDS ARE 10-20

You are clearly one of the best players in the tourney.

Why do you want to play bingo for your entire stack in the first five minutes if you are better than all your opponents?

I completely dislike EVERYTHING about this hand.

AJ

I fold high-only hands all the time in early position, but I'm a nit. I probably only play that on the cutoff or on the button, if at all.

If your in a bigger buy in game i like to play a small sng turbo so i can fold in the bigger game without getting bored by playing more hands in the sng.
