for turbo 9 mans how many tables do you grinders play at a time? i feel very confident in my 9 man game and feel i could probably 12 table with no significant drop in play/decisions, but dunno if thats smart

I 8-10 table very easily, but for some reason when I bump it up to 12 I have a little bit harder of a time.....

yea i would recommend topping at 8 or 9. i used to 8 table 1/2nl and it was when they had 8 table cap so that was all i could do. when they let you do more, i tried it but i really wasn't successful, once you get to 10 or more its hard to keep up, let alone make a good decision. imo you should cap at 8

I 8 table these...could do 9, dont like 12 but I use to do 4 and it was easy to track aka 1st covers it or 1 2nd and 1 3rd covers buyins and i can just double that with 8.

I 4 table b/c I've been running stakes/BAPs and need to keep a rail but I can comfortably 6 table and probably 8 table. 10 is where I begin to drop my decision making and 12 is just too many

I have no issue with 7-8...anything beyond that gets difficult
The only answer to your question though is ROI...
What ROI do you maintain (and what sanity level) at 8 tables vs 12 short-term? Do you burn out quicker and therefore reduce long-term ROI at 12 vs 8? etc...
Only you can answer these questions....

For me is the opposite. Overlapping kills me. Even 6-tabling with overlap is terrible for me.
I think my best ROI is 4-tabling but my best hourly rate is probably 6 or 8-tabling if I can do that without overlapping.
I'm also playing only 4 at now because of my bap.

I always try to play 6 tables minimum, up to 9 on one screen. With dual monitors I think 10-12 is fine. As long as I feel like I'm giving each table fair play around the bubble I feel fine with as many tables as I can get going. This being said I like playing 6-9 on one screen.
