arent u in the sb??? you are out of position, more of a reason to 3 bet. I just think aq is gonna be the best hand here 85% of the time when there are 4 folds in fron of his open.
if you do wanna play that tight to gurantee yourself a spot back in step 4, just fold preflop. I dont like to flat out of position with aq, just my personal preference. Flatting isnt horrible, but the min raise on the flop on a flushed board is not a strong play. Just my opinion

I dont play DON's so I wouldn't know for sure, but aren't they about survival a lot and taking a line like this w/AQ bad?

yes survival, doesnt mean you dont 3 bet with aq from a hijack raise. whats ur range to 3 bet a high jack raise?
im not saying im always 3 betting, but around 80% here
Another note:
I like to be putting pressure on players in the early stages of sit ngoes. I think its a little bit different than how everyone else plays, but it allows me to maximize profit in later levels from my bigger hands. I want people to think i am some agg spew tard. If people are paying attention to game flow, they probably wont believe me later on when i have a real hand cause i had been so agg.

my fault, i just skimmed the OP. the initial raise was from the hi-jack... you are right, it does change a lot of how I would have played the hand. I agree 3betting is fine, agree 80-85%.

yeh
i had to read it 8 times before i figured out how i would have played the hand. Then i realized he wasnt in middle position, and 3 betting was probably the best play

so given what we know now, 3bet to 250, 400 on flop, and basically jam the turn?
